A CCTV image of two people has been released by officers investigating a report of criminal damage in Folkestone at Napier Barracks. 

On Thursday 28th January, just after 8 am ‘fake blood’ was thrown by several people over the gate and nearby pavement of Napier Barracks, causing criminal damage to the property in a far-left demonstration.   

The message of the ‘incident’, addressed to the Home Office, demanded “Close Napier camp now or there will be blood on your hands!” 

The following day Illegal Immigrants caused a riot and started a fire at Napier Barracks. 

Andrew Aitchison from Folkestone and another man from Dover were arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage. They have been released on bail until 22nd February 2021.

Officers would like to identify and speak to the people pictured, as they may have information which could assist their ongoing enquiries. Anyone with information regarding the image or the incident itself should contact Kent Police on 01843 222289 quoting 46/14178/21.

The suspects were reported to have left the scene by car.
